Cary, NC – InstantGMP, Inc. announces a new update to their Electronic Batch Record software, InstantGMP™ v3.002.001. New features and functionalities have been added after listening to feedback from users. These new features and functionalities take the software to a new level and makes manufacturing with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) even simpler.
Split Receipts & Multiple Lots
Users can now split received materials into separate lots for enhanced management and deeper traceability. System generated numbers, the core of InstantGMP’s software, have been changed to assign a receipt number when accepting materials into inventory. Previously, receipt numbers were generated when a requisition, or a purchase order, has been issued.
Materials can be partially received and further segmented, if desired. This feature is perfect for receiving lots that come in pieces, handling complex testing requests, and splitting lots for reserving materials and more. The software keeps track of the remainder in addition to how much has been received, where it has been placed, and who accepted it.
Centralized Inventory
Inventory Status has been folded into Inventory Management to better organize on-hand materials and provides a complete snapshot of a material’s information. Buttons on the bottom of the page allow users to scan a material label to change its status, record use, change bin location, or further split the lot for other activities, including segmenting inventory for sampling, staging, and much more.
One-Click Batch Records & Expedited Master Record Creation
With the new release, users can take advantage of even more features for Master Production Records (MPRs). A Batch Production Record (BPR) can now be generated from an approved MPR with one-click. This further streamlines the batch production process by making interactions within the software more efficient for users.
Together with One-Click Batch Records, the Partial Receipts and Split Lot feature further empowers companies with automation and traceability necessary to not only make their jobs more efficient, but to take their manufacturing to the next level.
