Users can keep their data coordinated across the two systems. InstantGMP™ focuses on inventory control and manufacturing and allows QuickBooks to focus on financial management such as paying bills and collecting revenue. A Material Import app passes purchase order and inventory data from InstantGMP™ to QuickBooks. Users can keep their data coordinated in the two systems.
When raw materials, ingredients, components and supplies are purchased through InstantGMP™, that Purchase Order information can be transferred to QuickBooks. All incoming material Quantities on Hand in QuickBooks will be updated. Any new P.O. Numbers, items, vendors or U/M not already in QuickBooks will be created. QuickBooks is/must then be used to receive and to pay vendor invoices.
When Finished Goods or Final Products (FG/WIP) are produced in InstantGMP™ and entered into the Inventory Module, but will not be transferred to QuickBooks. QuickBooks should be used for Point of Sale or Distribution tracking of these products separately.
The InstantGMP™ Material export app will work with:
- QuickBooks 2014 Premier and Enterprise Manufacturing and Wholesale Edition on Windows 7 and Windows 8
- QuickBooks 2015 Premier and Enterprise Manufacturing and Wholesale Edition on Windows 7 and Windows 8
- >QuickBooks 2016 Premier and Enterprise Manufacturing and Wholesale Edition on Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10
